Recently acquired cello sound sources."SWAM-S"I am doing a study of the "After Dreams". The subject matter is chosen from a selection of small cello pieces, the first of which is "After a Dream" by Fauré. Originally the first piece of the song "Three Songs, Op. 7," it is a beautiful piece often played by cellos and other stringed instruments.
The melody is played again in the middle of the piece, going up an octave, but instead of playing it on the sparkling A line, the trick is to bring out the calm tone by playing it on the high positive of the D line. All the greats play like that. However, I could not find a way to handle this part well in SWAM, so I chose one of several prepared cellos with different tones and typed it in.
