Sound Libraries-2 La Scoring Strings 3 (LASS 3)

Audiobro’s La Scoring Strings has been upgraded from version 2.5 to 3. I got my hands on it right away and gave it a try. (Albinoni Adagio) The user interface has been significantly redesigned, incorporating developments from the company’s recently released Modern Scoring Strings. Thanks to this, switching between patches—which was previously quite cumbersome—can now be done easily with key switches, greatly improving usability. In other words, it has finally reached a standard level of convenience for modern sample libraries. Given its already highly praised sound quality, I imagine this update will encourage more users to give it another try. The detailed vibrato adjustments are still lacking, but for my needs, this is more than sufficient. I haven’t yet thoroughly compared it to Modern Scoring Strings, which I purchased earlier, but it seems that while the ensemble size remains the same, the recordings have been newly redone. Since I’m already accustomed to the LASS sound, I plan to stick with LASS 3 for my string ensemble parts for the time being.
