I have worked on 32nd, which I was curious about. The focus this time was on volume balance and minor tempo/articulation corrections. Here are some comments I received from a teacher who has been giving me lessons through audio files.
"For example, if it were me, I would think of the second variation in the second movement as a string quartet. Depending on the musical expression, I might vary the balance of each part a bit more while playing. This is where things get even more interesting."
Hmm, I see… It’s really deep. I think I’ll let it sit for a while and then give it another try.
