It's not the phrase "If I could play the piano," which is a famous Japanese song, but there's nothing I can do with a level of Bayer incomplete. Besides, the piano that I had touched from time to time in the past was disposed of when I moved to a new house. Still, I wish I could play Beethoven's Piano Sonata...
Right, DTM might allow me to play the piano properly! So, after retiring, I took a leap of faith. I started MIDI input from scratch. It has been a long time since I started, although I struggled a lot. During that time, I did not learn anything in particular, and everything was self-initiated. At least, I have come to be able to produce a sound only on the surface. I am trying my best to bring the sound that I would like to play to the level that can be heard by the audience.
Oh my God, it's Beethoven!
It might even be able to play "Hammerklavier," which is extremely difficult!
Perhaps a live cello could be played with MIDI piano accompaniment!
Thankfully, a former colleague of mine, a pianist, is giving me remote lessons as a teacher. We communicate by sharing audio converted files in the cloud. Sometimes, he even shows me his fingering on a live piano via Skype (currently Discord). What? The attack sound is so different between the back and front of the keyboard! While lamenting the lack of musical ability of a true amateur, I receive harsh bloodType B comments daily, and I knew that people who had proper training were great.
For now, we will upload the songs we have typed so far one by one.
