I was quite impressed with this song that was played in the background when I saw Oliver Stone's "Platoon" a long time ago. It was apparently used at Kennedy's funeral, but that in itself was a great shock, and I never noticed the funeral music that was played.
I've been hammering away at the piano for a while now, and my teacher has always pointed this out to me.
That is, "Balance the soprano/alto and tenor/bass with the movement of the subject properly in mind!" That's what I'm talking about. To train for this, I decided to try MIDI input of Strings. The idea was to study the balance between the different instruments with different tones in a slow piece of music. In order to learn how to express the changing tones within a single note, in other words, "Expression," is essential.
I thought that strings playing was very different from piano playing. I play the piano as if I were playing it myself, but with the Strings, I had the strange feeling of being the conductor and controlling each part. It is interesting.
When I listen to it now, I am concerned about the balance, the attack, and other minor details, so I would like to fix them.
First of all, the balance was slightly reworked (September 23, 2020)
