Beethoven Piano Sonata No. 23 “Appassionata” (Revised)

I revisited my earlier MIDI performance of Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 23, the “Appassionata”.
This time, I worked on adjusting the volume balance of each movement, the balance between the right and left hands, fine nuances, and even some mistouches. The comments I now receive from my teacher have become much more detailed and demanding compared with the early days, so the revision process was quite challenging!

When I completed the piece previously, my teacher told me, “If you come back to it after some time, new ideas will surely come to you.” In other words, it still had plenty of room for improvement. With the corrections I made this time, I feel the character of the performance has changed quite a bit, so I hope you will enjoy listening.

Regarding the octave C in measures 310 and 312 of the third movement, and the octave E in measures 318 and 320, as I mentioned before, I chose to play them one octave lower—trying, perhaps, to sense what Beethoven might have intended.
