Beethoven String Quartet No. 13, No. 5, “Cavatina” (Revised 2)

Using the Vienna MIR Pro 3D settings (MIR2) examined in the previous article [1], I revised the performance as a whole.

[1] Creating a String Quartet with Vienna MIR Pro 3D

Compared with MIR1, I feel that the presence of each of the four strings has become clearer, and that their interaction and sense of tension are now expressed more convincingly.

Of course, MIR Pro 3D is an extremely deep and flexible plug-in, so I do not regard this setup as a final answer. The more I use it, the more I feel there is still much more to explore.

Below, I have placed the MIR1 and MIR2 players side by side so that they can be compared directly.
